DO YOU GET NECK PROBLEMS WHEN USING A LAPTOP OR TABLET?
Chiropractors, exercise therapists and physiotherapists see a growing number of young people with "tablet neck". The lower the screen, the greater the strain on the neck. A hunched posture means the neck muscles carry the weight of the head. With your chin on your chest, the weight on your neck rapidly reaches 27 kilos. This is far too heavy and can quickly lead to neck complaints.
DUTCH WORKING CONDITIONS ACT
The number of hours you work at a screen has a major influence on your probability of developing physical complaints. Research has shown that mobile devices pose a greater health risk than fixed workstations. The Dutch Working Conditions Act indicates that you are not allowed to work longer than 2 hours a day at a workplace where the keyboard and monitor are joined together (Arbo regulation 5.1).

PREVENT RSI WITH A DEVICE RAISER
In order to minimize health risks with mobile devices, R-Go Tools has developed ergonomic mobile device raisers. These laptop and tablet raisers easily raise the screen to eye level. This prevents neck and shoulder complaints.
